Today we learned about St. Patrick's Day. Some questions that we discussed were, "Why do we celebrate St. Patrick's Day?" , " Why do we wear green clothes?", and "How did the celebration of St. Patrick's day start?" We also studied vocabulary like "clover", "leprechaun", "parade", "Ireland", "missionary" and "pub". Many students wore green so that they wouldn't get pinched.
